Me, Oma Dor, and Desmond
Generation Next now boarding the Dream Ship
I have missed posting my dreams but I've been busy with new grand babies sprouting all over the family. My own baby is now on a plane to Costa Rica for work and she is pregnant with her first baby. I asked her to recall any dreams she has while there. She and I have a strong dream connection and share ours often. We've both had typical pregnant mother dreams in the past so this round should be very interesting.
I did dream about my newest grandson, Desmond, before he was born. He was smiling up at me and I said "Oh, what are you doing here already?". Desmond was indeed a preemie and what a smiley boy he is. He is about to become a big brother and he's less than a year old himself! Leo will be born in June, and Des will turn 1 yr old in July. They have an older brother, Alex, and a sister, Rowan, my two smart and adorable step-grandchildren.
My daughter's baby is due around my birthday at the end of Sept. I also have two growing grand kids on the west coast, Sophia, age 6 and Kai, age 4. Talented and sassy, just the way we like 'em.
Yes, Generation X is very busy these days with Generation Next. I'm glad I'm the Oma this time and can knit booties, crochet amigurumi toys and quilt comfy blankees for them while they're still too young to hate Grandma's home-made stuff.
Meanwhile, here on the Dream Ship I have a pile of baby knits ready to photograph and send out before they're outgrown before they get there. I'll have a hard time parting with the amigurumi, but I will. I'll just have to make more. My husband is helping, too, and learning new tricks every day. It's more fun creating in tandem. But, ooo baby, baby, I'd better stop there for now.
